Formed in 2007, (Previously the ‘Surrey 12’) West Surrey Artists is a group of practising artists living in the West of Surrey exhibiting their work together at various venues in the area. Their first exhibition was held at the 1215 Art Gallery at Runnymede and more are planned.

There are several professional artists in the group and some also teach and demonstrate to other groups around the country. All members of the group exhibit with other organisations regularly and many of them have shown work at major exhibitions in London and galleries both nationally and internationally.

The group as a whole displays a wide variety of subject matter, techniques, and styles from contemporary to traditional in all the painting media from watercolours, oils, acrylics and mixed media.
